You may play a major role in the security and safety within the warehouse whilst loading and unloading lorries/trailers. Also, in the warehouse, you may be involved in picking, packing and dispatching products for customer's needs and undertaking the logistical aspects of warehousing.
What training will I receive?
All training will be done in company using relevant equipment. You will be dealing with customers, colleagues and other people and will gain good communication skills. You will also be assessed on an ongoing basis by your Training Officer and be asked to produce any evidence required for you to progress towards achieving your Apprenticeship.

What qualifications will I get?
If you are following an Apprenticeship programme there will be no need to attend college as you will be assessed in the workplace by qualified Training Officers.

All of our Training Officers are committed to you as the learner, giving you support where you need it most.
Apprenticeships are free for 16 to 18 year olds and 19 to 24 year olds. For those that cannot do an apprenticeship who are 19 years old and over *, you can do an NVQ plus Essential Skill in either literacy or numeracy via our Train 2 Gain scheme.
