This qualification is for anyone who uses a computer. It is designed to be a true reflection of what is going on in the workplace, and is an ideal way of certifying your skills on using I.T.
This can range from simple PC maintenance to the everyday use of these types of software..
The Apprenticeships come in at levels 1 for beginners, 2 for regular users and 3 for those heavily involved with I.T. The Apprenticeship depending on the level can last from 12 months to 18 months, and is done at your place of work.
You will also be able to update your literacy and numeracy skills by being assessed by our training officers for either Skills for Life, Move On, or Keyskills at a level appropriate to you, on a one to one basis, with discretion guaranteed !
The ITQ qualification is done on a points system with our awarding body City and Guilds. To see how your job role could fit into the ITQ NVQ, CLICK ON THE LINK BELOW to use the ITQ calculator, and either download or open the calculator (get permission from whoever owns the computer you are using at this time).

Once completed, make up your points and see in depth what the units of competence are about, and what you would have to do to meet the standards. Once you have done this, speak to your employer about the qualification, see if they are willing to let us come into your company and guide you through the qualification and together we will then form an "Individual Learning Plan" to guide you through your qualification.
We have the latest resources to help us assess your skills such as laptops, digital voice recorders, camcorders, digital cameras and 3G cards if you should need to use the internet for your qualification.
ALL OUR TRAINING OFFICERS ARE COMMITTED TO YOU AS THE LEARNER, GIVING YOU SUPPORT WHERE YOU NEED IT MOST
